NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) is the single entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical & Paramedical courses across India. It is held once a year and is the first step for any student aspiring to become a doctor.

To get a MBBS seat in India candidates must Qualify NEET UG Exam in their category.

How counseling Process is Conducted?

A NEET Qualified candidate can only get a MBBS seat by counseling. There is no direct admission or Back door entry to get admission into a medical college. Candidates must attend the Counseling process and seats will be allotted based on Student Merit or NEET Rank & Quota.

Types of Counselings-

• All India Counseling- Its a domicile free Counseling. All NEET Qualified candidates can apply for it.
  MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) conducts counselling for Seat across all India under Government(State Govt Colleges), Deemed, Central Universities (BHU,AMU,DU,AFMS,IPU,etc and central institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, etc.
• STATE COUNSELING- Individual State Counseling authorities conduct counselling for state quota seats( 85% Govt & 100% Private Colleges) within their respective states.
• The Counseling process includes Registration, choice filling, seat allotment, Joining at the allotted Institute. Counselling has Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Round.
